PALMS FOR ASHES
On Wednesday, March 1st, we shall be entering into the Lenten Season. It is customary to burn the palms from the previous year before the start of the Season. On (Feb 18th & Feb.19th) & on (Feb 25th & Feb. 26th), you will find baskets for the collection of your old palms. Place your palms from last year in the baskets by Feb.26, 2017.



LENTEN FAST & ABSTINENCE
Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of fast (one full meal) and abstinence (no meat). All other Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence. Those between the ages of 18 & 59 are obliged to fast. Those from the age of 14 are obliged to abstain from meat.


ASH WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE
On Wednesday, March 1st, we celebrate Ash Wednesday, the beginning of our Lenten Season. Ashes will be distributed during the following times:
7:30 AM—English: Mass & Distribution of Ashes
9:00 AM—English: Mass & Distribution of Ashes
   4:00 PM—English: Service & Distribution of Ashes
6:00 PM—Spanish: Mass & Distribution of Ashes
7:30 PM—English: Mass & Distribution of Ashes


STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Stations of the Cross will be held each Friday evening during Lent in the Church
(Spanish) - 6:30 pm.
(English) Mass followed by Stations - 7:30pm


ST. ANN’S PARISH LENTEN MISSION
Our Parish Lenten Mission will be held this year from Sunday, Mar. 12th through Wed. Mar 15th and will be conducted by Fr. John McGowan with the theme being “Be merciful as your heavenly Father is merciful.” All are invited and encouraged to attend this spiritually uplifting Parish Lenten Mission!


CONFIRMATION PARENT’S MEETING
There will be a Confirmation Parent’s Meeting on Sunday, February 26th in the Parish Center at 9:15 am. At least one parent MUST ATTEND this important meeting.



SPRING CRAFT BAZAAR!!!
The St. Ann's  Youth Group  will be sponsoring  a Spring Craft Bazaar Saturday, March 4th and Sunday, March 5th, 2017. If you are interested in renting a table please contact Dottsie (609)-893-8118.



ST. ANN’S ALTAR ROSARY HOAGIE SALE 
St. Ann’s Altar Rosary Women are taking orders for ITALIAN,TURKEY, AMERICAN AND TUNA Hoagies. Hoagies are $6.00 each. Fill out your order form and return it in the attached envelope and put in the collection basket or drop it off to O’Brien & Sons no later than February 26, 2017. (Cash or check made payable to Altar Rosary Society) Hoagie pick up at St. Ann’s Church Hall between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.



ST. PATRICK’S DAY DINNER
We will hold a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a traditional & Non-Traditional Irish Dinner! Tickets will be sold after masses; prices are as follows:
Adults & Children (over 12): $10.00 Advance $12.00 Door
Children (under 12): $6.00 Advance $8.00 Door
Children under 3 are free! FREE
Look for the $2.00 off each meal coupon on the flier in the bulletin. (Offer expires on March 7, 2017.)

CCD CANDY SALE  
All money is due back to the Rectory NOW. You may turn your money (preferably by check) in to your child’s teacher in the envelope provided or drop it off at the Rectory/or at Mass with your child’s name clearly marked on the envelope


MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE!
We are in desperate need of a few musicians as we move into the New Year. Pianists, organists, guitarists, and others are welcome to join us at the 10:30am Mass. If you can give one week a month or more we would love to have you. Remember, when you play or sing, you pray twice! See us after the 10:30am Mass and learn more about joining the group.
